A career as a Data Scientist in the Client Data Valorisation team at National Bank means serving as a predictive modelling and data valorisation specialist. Your job
- Carry out complex studies, research and analyses to support decision-making and propose solutions tailored to business needs.
- Explore, transform and analyse complex data to respond to marketing initiatives, mainly in the savings and investment sector.
- Develop predictive and descriptive analytical models using SAS, Python and SQL in cloud environments.
- Collaborate with the it, architecture, product and marketing strategy teams to ensure the deployment of models in production environments.
- Identify stakeholder needs, present analysis results and act as a partner with business lines.
- Monitor technological, mathematical and sector advances in order to improve models, systems and work processes on an ongoing basis.

The Vice-President – Analytics and Data is made up of more than 150 specialists who work agile, proactively and collaboratively to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology and continuously improve processes.
You are part of a team of 15 colleagues in the Client Data Valuation sector and report to the Senior Manager – Analytics. Our team stands out for its expertise in predictive modelling of client behaviours and needs, as well as its willingness to stay abreast of new trends.

Prerequisites
- Academic training relevant to expertise and between 5 and 7 years of experience in data science.
- In-depth knowledge of data science algorithms, including segmentation, clustering, regression, classification and time series.
- Proficient analytical tools and languages such as SAS, Python, SQL.
- Experience in predictive and descriptive analytics modelling in cloud environments such as snowflake or Amazon Web Services.
- Be familiar with relational database environments and master the use of SQL.
- Experience in the banking or marketing sectors, an asset.
