- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks
- Service attachments and working tools
- Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing
- Perform other routine maintenance

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, inspect, and diagnose equipment faults using computerized and other testing equipment, then repair or replace defective parts and test repairs against manufacturers' specifications. Perform maintenance and repair work on heavy trucks, service attachments and working tools, and assist operators in mineral ore and metal processing.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate and 3 to less than 5 years of experience. The role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, coordination, and the ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
