- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Determine weldability of materials
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment

Operate pre-set welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, and maintain or perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate and 3 to less than 5 years of experience. The role requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, flexibility, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain seated or standing for extended periods.
