Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Shipping Associate is responsible for ensuring all shipments are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities

Inspect all products coming in from the picking floor and verify accuracy against packing slips
Consolidate all products coming in from the picking floor together with their corresponding order
Create Bill of Ladings for outbound shipments
Shrink wrap shipments on skids
Process various courier shipments in their online portals
Use pump truck to move shipments into shipping lanes
Assist customers at Pick-Up Window
Assist drivers for carriers when they arrive
Keep shipping area clean, including outside ramp and under dock doors
Various projects as assigned by Shipping Manager / Shipping Leads

Qualifications

Experience in a similar position is an asset
Forklift certification is an asset
Ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma completed
Capability to work as a team player
Good Math skills
Good communication skills in English
Able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Inspect and consolidate products against packing slips and orders, prepare bills of lading, wrap shipments, and process courier shipments. Move shipments into shipping lanes, assist customers and carrier drivers, maintain a clean shipping area, and complete assigned projects.

Requirements

A high school diploma is required, and experience in a similar role and forklift certification are assets. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work well in a team with minimal supervision, and have good math and English communication skills.
