The NNDSB invites applications for the following permanent position commencing 2026-2027 school year:
Position

Position
- Primary/ Junior Prep Coverage
- A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
- A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Primary and Junior Qualifications
- Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
- Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/MacBook/iMac)
- Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on ‘at-risk’ students
- Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
- Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work
- Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication

Responsibilities
Provide primary and junior teaching, including preparation and coverage, while supporting student learning across literacy and numeracy. Use technology to document and evaluate student work, support varied learners, and communicate with students' guardians as part of the school team.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid Ontario College of Teachers certificate and registration, with Primary and Junior qualifications. The position also calls for knowledge of Ministry curriculum and assessment documents, experience with Apple devices and software, and the ability to support at-risk learners, integrate technology, work collaboratively, and use Edsby.
