- Grade 7/8 Classroom Teacher
- A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
- A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Intermediate Qualifications
- Special Education Qualifications is an Asset
- Experience in Supporting Diverse Learners is an Asset
- Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
- Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/MacBook/iMac)
- Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on ‘at-risk’ students
- Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
- Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work
- Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication

Responsibilities
Teach a Grade 7/8 classroom and support diverse learners, including at-risk students, through literacy and numeracy instruction. Integrate technology to document and evaluate student work, collaborate with the school team, and use Edsby to support student learning and communicate with guardians.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate, a valid Certificate of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers, and Intermediate Qualifications. Special Education Qualifications and experience supporting diverse learners are assets; candidates should also demonstrate knowledge of Ministry curriculum and assessment documents, Apple-based software and devices, and Edsby.
