The Role

As a Regional Director of Sales at Neo Financial, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for the profitability and success of your designated region. You will directly manage and develop District Managers, ensuring their effectiveness in driving sales, achieving key performance indicators, and adhering to Neo's operational standards. Your focus will be on maximizing efficiency, optimizing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and fostering a high-performance sales culture within your region. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership, training, and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to operate independently and travel frequently within the region.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and drive revenue growth within the assigned region.
Manage and mentor District Managers. Provide ongoing coaching, support, and guidance to ensure they are effectively managing their teams and achieving sales targets.
Monitor regional sales performance, analyze data, and implement strategies to improve sales effectiveness and optimize Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) across all districts.
Ensure District Managers are effectively recruiting, onboarding, and developing their teams, including Store Managers and sales representatives, to maximize sales potential and performance.
Spearhead regional sales training initiatives, including the implementation of company sales programs, and ensure consistent delivery of training to District Managers and their teams.
Ensure operational excellence and compliance with company policies and procedures across all districts within the region.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between District Managers and senior sales leadership, ensuring alignment on sales goals, strategies, and initiatives.
Identify and pursue new growth opportunities within the region, including new locations, channels, and partnerships, to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to the Senior Director of Sales, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Travel within the region to support District Sales Managers, assess sales operations, and ensure the effective implementation of sales strategies and best practices.

Who we are looking for:

8+ years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of managing and developing sales teams within a growth channel.
8+ years of experience with proven ability to drive sales growth, improve team performance, and manage profitability (P&L).
8+ years of experience in data analysis, performance management, and sales metrics. The ideal candidate is extremely well-versed in understanding numbers, interpreting sales data, and using this information to drive strategic decision-making and improve performance.
7+ years of experience with excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You must be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to effectively manage time and resources.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
Experience managing sales teams across multiple locations or districts, ideally within a similar industry (e.g., financial services, direct-to-consumer sales).
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Network of Sales Representatives: Possesses a strong, existing network of high-performing sales representatives suitable for representing Neo Financial.

Proven ability to:

Identify, attract, and develop top-performing sales leaders and representatives within the specific province.
Understand the unique dynamics of the provincial sales landscape, including key players, competitive trends, and customer behaviors.
Build and leverage a strong network of professional relationships within the local business community.
Navigate regional market challenges and opportunities to drive sales success.

Working at Neo:

The people who thrive at Neo are resourceful, growth-oriented, and driven to win. We hold ourselves to high standards because we’re on a mission that matters: to build a more rewarding financial future for all Canadians. As individuals and as a team, we constantly challenge ourselves and each other to raise the bar and deliver exceptional experiences for our customers. Our commitment to customer success drives everything we do, from building world-class products to providing exceptional support at every step of their journey. If this resonates with you, keep reading.

We trust, respect, and support each other. This means honest conversations, constructive input, and empowering each other to move fast and think big. You’ll be surrounded by people who push you to be your best. We primarily collaborate in person across our Calgary, Winnipeg, and Toronto offices, where ideas move quickly and teams build momentum together. As we continue to scale and evolve, we’re looking for builders, innovators, and problem solvers who thrive on challenge–people who would rather blaze a trail through uncertainty than follow a well-paved path.

At Neo, ownership is part of how we think and operate. For select roles, equity participation reinforces that mindset by giving employees a direct stake in the company’s long-term success. Regardless of role, every team member is expected to think like an owner and make decisions that move the business forward.

Apply with us:

We believe in equal opportunity and are committed to creating an inclusive climate where everyone can thrive. Customers trust us with their finances, so successful candidates for this position will be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal records check and a credit check.

By continuing with your application, you agree to the Candidate Privacy Notice, which guides how we process your personal information for the purpose of your application.

Neo Financial leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to reinforce our candidate evaluation process, including the initial assessment of applications and screening of candidates. These tools support our recruitment team; however, all final hiring decisions are made by humans and are not based exclusively on automated processing. If you require further information regarding our data processing practices, please contact us.

We are hiring for an open, vacant position.
