About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Inventory Coordinator to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations in Edmonton.

The successful candidate will manage serialized and high-security inventory, process shipment records, reconcile stock, and ensure orders are fulfilled within established service timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and ship orders within 24–48 hours or established service-level timelines.
  • Receive shipments, verify quantities, and submit packing slips and receiving documentation within 24 hours.
  • Operate reach trucks and other material-handling equipment safely in accordance with occupational health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, replenish stock, and rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and accurate stock tracking.
  • Handle high-security and serialized materials with careful attention to detail.
  • Coordinate bulk order distribution and departmental mail.
  • Update the Shipping Manager database and MOVES with shipment details, waybill numbers, parcel counts, shipping dates, serialized ranges, and special instructions.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic shipping and inventory records.
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures, use required PPE, and participate in safety inspections and OHS initiatives.
  • Work independently while collaborating with warehouse and customer service teams.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 5 year of hands-on reach truck operating experience. Counterbalance forklift experience alone will not qualify.
  • At least 8 years of warehouse shipping and inventory control experience, including cycle counts and inventory reconciliation using a computer system.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence in good standing, required to obtain a Motor Vehicle ID (MVID) for MOVES access.
  • Ability to type accurately at 35+ WPM, with assessment results attached to the resume.
  • At least 2 years of accurate data processing or data entry experience.
  • Experience using supply chain software, such as JD Edwards or Microsoft Dynamics, for at least 1 year.
  • Experience with computerized inventory management systems for at least 1 year.
  • At least 1 year of experience safely operating material-handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, shrink wrappers, or strappers.
  • Experience handling controlled serialized inventory or high-value products.
  • Experience with OHS committees, safety protocols, or related warehouse safety responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties involving standing, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to wear steel-toed shoes or boots throughout warehouse work.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
