Original job description

About the job

You are a confident, proactive sales professional who enjoys picking up the phone, meeting new people and moving opportunities forward.

You’ll work with company-generated leads and opportunities you source yourself, helping prospective partners understand how NMG can support their growth. Your responsibilities will span outreach, discovery, proposals, follow-up and closing, with support from our founders and delivery team.

You’ll also develop relationships with complementary businesses, consultants and agencies that can become valuable referral partners.

This role suits someone who wants meaningful ownership, commission upside and the opportunity to help build a growing agency’s sales function.

BASE SALARY 3-4 K Monthly + COMMISSIONS/BONUS

Responsibilities

Conduct cold calls and personalized outreach through email, LinkedIn and other relevant channels using company-provided accounts and your own research.
Respond promptly to inbound leads, qualify opportunities and book discovery conversations.
Understand each prospect’s business, growth goals, current marketing, budget and decision-making process.
Present NMG’s services clearly, connecting our advertising capabilities and relevant client experience to the prospect’s needs.
Work with leadership to prepare proposals, handle objections, negotiate approved terms and close new engagements.
Build referral relationships with web developers, branding studios, consultants, agencies and other complementary businesses.
Keep CRM records current, including qualification notes, opportunity values, next steps and expected decision dates.
Represent NMG at relevant industry events and networking opportunities.
Coordinate clear handoffs to the delivery team, documenting the agreed scope, goals and commitments.
Share prospect feedback and contribute ideas that improve our targeting, messaging and sales process.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships and progress opportunities toward a sale.
Confidence with cold calling, direct outreach and conversations with business owners and decision-makers.
Strong discovery skills, including the ability to ask useful questions and recognize a suitable opportunity.
Clear written and verbal communication, with confidence presenting services and discussing commercial terms.
Resilience, consistent follow-through and the ability to work independently.
Strong organization and reliable CRM habits.
An interest in digital advertising, ecommerce and B2B customer acquisition.
Motivation to earn through performance and contribute to the company’s growth.

Nice to Haves

Five or more years of experience in sales, business development or partnerships.
Experience selling marketing, advertising or other recurring business services.
Familiarity with Meta advertising, ecommerce or B2B lead generation.
Experience developing referral partnerships or an existing network of business owners and agency contacts.
Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo or similar platforms.
Evidence of mentoring others, improving sales processes or taking on greater responsibility.

Compensation

Full-time opportunity.
Base compensation plus commission, with earnings tied to new business.
