Original job description

When the sun goes down, our night crew gets to work. While Sudbury sleeps, you’re the one making sure the fuel is there in the morning: for the mines, the job sites, the fleets and the businesses that keep our communities running.

This is not your typical driving job. No two nights are the same, you’re always on the move, and when your shift ends, you go home.

If you take pride in a job done right, like staying busy and want more than just miles behind the wheel, we want to meet you.

Schedule

  • Monday to Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
  • Home after every shift, no overnights away
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday off, every week

What Your Nights Look Like

  • Hit the road with a B-train, hauling fuel between terminals and our facilities
  • Unload and transfer product safely into bulk storage tanks
  • Set up the day crew for success by loading and topping up the delivery trucks so they’re ready to roll at sunrise
  • Drive and load tri-axle and tandem fuel trucks when needed, including local deliveries to commercial, industrial and site customers
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any equipment issues
  • Keep bills of lading, delivery tickets, logbooks and TDG paperwork accurate and up to date
  • Follow all safety, environmental and spill-prevention procedures, every load, every time

Who You Are

  • You hold a valid Class AZ licence with a clean driver’s abstract
  • You have B-train or tanker experience, or you’re eager to build it
  • You have your TDG and WHMIS certifications, or you’re willing to get them
  • You’re in good physical shape: handling hoses, climbing on equipment and working outdoors in every Northern season doesn’t slow you down
  • You’re versatile and self-driven, comfortable switching between driving, loading and delivering in the same night
  • You’re reliable and safety-minded, and you don’t need someone looking over your shoulder

What We Offer

  • $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience
  • Group insurance plan for you and your family
  • Pension plan to help you build your future
  • Home after every shift, with 3-day weekends every single week
  • A tight-knit crew and a growing Northern Ontario company where your work truly makes a difference
