New Value Solutions is a consulting company with offices in Canada, USA and Europe. We have a number of projects and are searching for a Cybersecurity Architect. This is a contract opportunity only. Key area of expertise includes designing Identity architecture and implementing enterprise application security.

Responsibilities

  • •Architect Zero Trust target state.
  • •Design workforce, customer, privileged, and nonhuman identity solutions, and guide delivery.
  • •Lead the application security reviews and security design risk assessments (SDRA).
  • •Translate business requirements into designs, policies, and controls with complete traceability and testable acceptance criteria.
  • •Mentor more junior team members.
  • •Communicate to executives and steering committees on risks and risk tolerances.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in overall IT security
  • 4+ years of experience as a cybersecurity architect
  • Strong experience designing and implementing Identity architecture
  • Hands on experience with Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, SailPoint, or CyberArk.
  • Strong experience with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, FIDO2, and MFA.
  • IAM governance experience
  • Working knowledge of application security (threat modeling, OWASP, SAST)
  • Working knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls

Requirements

Requires 10 or more years of overall IT security experience and at least 4 years as a cybersecurity architect, with strong experience designing and implementing identity architecture. Candidates should have hands-on experience with identity platforms and protocols, IAM governance experience, and working knowledge of application security and security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
