- Support ongoing IT projects, helpdesk activities, and general technical operations.
- Maintain documentation of security findings, technical issues, and implemented changes.
- Collaborate with internal technical staff to prioritize tasks and complete assigned activities.
Requirements:

- Strong working knowledge of network and infrastructure security concepts.
- Experience reviewing security alerts, investigating technical issues, and implementing remediation activities.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender or similar security monitoring and threat detection platforms.
- Experience supporting identity and access management, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

- Knowledge of backup monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery processes.
- Familiarity with security assessments, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
- Experience or familiarity with SaaS security reviews and SQL Server security.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Passkeys, or related security technologies is an asset.
- Experience with Field Effect and/or Obsidian Security is an asset.
- Experience supporting IT projects, helpdesk operations, and IT equipment purchasing is an asset.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while following the direction of senior technical staff.
- Availability to work approximately 4 hours per day for an initial 3-month contract, with potential for full-time hours.
