Microsoft Azure Administrator (ID#5603)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Microsoft Azure Administrator/Developer to support the deployment, development, integration, and administration of Microsoft Azure solutions for a public-sector client in Burnaby, BC.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, hands-on Azure professional with strong application integration, cloud administration, security, and DevOps expertise. This role involves implementing hybrid cloud integrations, configuring Azure services, automating deployments, supporting Power Platform solutions, and collaborating with internal IT teams to establish secure and reliable cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement integrations between cloud-based and on-premises applications using Azure Integration Services.
• Configure and manage Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, and Azure Key Vault.
• Implement and configure Azure API Management with an on-premises API Gateway to support hybrid integration environments.
• Implement and maintain Azure security controls for cloud and hybrid solutions.
• Develop and automate application deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure solutions.
• Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Microsoft Azure environments.
• Configure Azure Monitor and related logging services to monitor application performance and integration data flows.
• Develop, review, and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Configure and manage Azure DevOps to support project management, development, and deployment activities.
• Develop, implement, and enforce Azure development, integration, security, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with server administrators, enterprise architects, data architects, and middleware/integration developers.
• Provide technical advice, troubleshooting, documentation, and support to internal IT teams.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure appropriate security practices are followed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience developing applications and integrations using Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, and Key Vault.
• Experience implementing integrations between cloud-based and on-premises enterprise applications.
• Experience configuring Azure API Management and integrating with on-premises API Gateways.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud security, networking, authentication, and hybrid environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating Azure deployments.
• Experience administering and managing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for development, deployment, and project management.
• Experience developing or supporting Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring and logging services, including Azure Monitor.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration, deployment, security, and application issues.
• Strong communication, collaboration, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with technical stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established IT security standards.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Azure implementations and complex hybrid integration environments.
• Experience establishing cloud development standards, deployment processes, and operational best practices.
• Experience working with public-sector organizations or complex enterprise IT environments.
