Project Manager (ID#5604)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Project Manager to work with senior executives to define and shape a major business modernization initiative. The successful candidate will refine the program vision, translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives, and oversee program delivery, financial management, and performance measurement.

Responsibilities:

• Work with senior executives to define the program vision, refine strategic objectives, and align initiatives with organizational priorities.
• Translate desired business outcomes into a program approach, supporting initiatives, and an integrated delivery plan.
• Plan and coordinate proof-of-value experiments to validate potential investments in business transformation.
• Develop a program measurement framework to monitor progress, assess outcomes, and evaluate potential projects.
• Plan, manage, and oversee program delivery, working regularly with project teams to provide direction, monitor progress, and resolve issues.
• Coordinate business projects and work streams, including resource planning, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions.
• Oversee program budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Plan and facilitate workshops to support strategic planning, problem solving, and decision-making.
• Develop and deliver clear executive briefings, PowerPoint presentations, and options and recommendations papers.
• Prepare and maintain program and project plans, statements of work, project charters, and decision, risk, and issue logs.
• Build positive relationships with sponsors, senior leaders, division heads, managers, and delivery teams.
• Motivate project teams and maintain alignment across program objectives, priorities, and deliverables.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager.
• A degree in Information Technology or Business Management.
• Knowledge of business plans, strategic priorities, and translating them into operational initiatives.
• Experience working with senior executives to define and shape major business modernization or transformation initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, including the ability to work backward from business outcomes to establish program plans and priorities.
• Familiarity with proof-of-value experiments to evaluate transformation initiatives and inform investment decisions.
• Experience developing program measurement frameworks and monitoring progress against objectives.
• Experience managing multiple projects and work streams, including resource planning, risk management, budgets, and financial forecasting.
• Strong workshop planning, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong PowerPoint presentation and executive communication skills.
• Ability to motivate delivery teams, build consensus, and maintain productive relationships across business and leadership groups.
• Experience preparing program plans, project charters, statements of work, executive presentations, and recommendations papers.
