Responsibilities:

Work closely with data engineers to define data requirements and ensure modelling datasets are complete, accurate, and fit for purpose.
Support data discovery, cleansing, preparation, and analytical data-readiness activities.
Translate complex analytical results into clear business insights for Finance and executive stakeholders.
Develop repeatable, maintainable, and well-documented analytical processes.
Support model operationalization and integration into the client’s broader analytics environment.
Contribute to technical documentation, model methodology, business rules, data definitions, and knowledge-transfer materials.
Mentor and provide technical direction to other data science and machine learning resources.
Work within privacy, security, and access controls associated with highly sensitive financial information.

Requirements:

Experience working with financial, cost, profitability, commercial, revenue, or business analytics is strongly preferred.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large enterprise datasets.
Experience working with data engineers and business stakeholders to prepare modelling-ready datasets.
Strong understanding of data quality, missing data, outliers, model bias, assumptions, and analytical limitations.
Experience communicating complex modelling results to non-technical business stakeholders.
Experience with SQL Server, JDE, Snowflake, or similar enterprise data platforms is considered an advantage.
Experience within aviation, transportation, financial services, or another data-intensive industry is considered an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
