Senior System Analyst (ID#5592)

New Value Solutions (NVS), a national IT consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst specializing in Oracle Cerner Millennium and Oncology to support a client's Regional Digital Solutions team. The consultant will provide expertise in Cerner Scheduling Management, radiation oncology workflows, and complex system configuration to support clinical operations, patient scheduling, and successful system implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze clinical and operational requirements to ensure Oracle Cerner Millennium functionality meets oncology department needs.
• Design, build, and configure oncology clinic schedules and patient appointments within Cerner Scheduling Management.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations for complex Cerner system build and configuration activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for oncology applications, troubleshooting complex configuration and workflow issues.
• Support radiation oncology treatment planning workflows and treatment appointment scheduling.
• Collaborate with clinical stakeholders and technical teams to align system functionality with operational requirements.
• Participate in system testing, validation, and implementation activities to ensure clinical workflows function as intended.
• Provide onsite technical and functional support during system cutover, go-live, and implementation.
• Investigate and resolve scheduling, configuration, and application issues during implementation.
• Support the delivery of reliable, efficient clinical information systems that improve patient care and operational workflows.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience working with Oracle Cerner Millennium applications.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Cerner system design, build, testing, and implementation projects.
• Strong experience with Cerner PowerChart and Cerner Scheduling Management.
• Thorough understanding of radiation oncology clinical and operational requirements.
• Experience supporting radiation treatment planning workflows and treatment appointment scheduling.
• Proven ability to design and configure complex clinical schedules and appointment workflows.
• Extensive knowledge of Cerner system cutover, go-live, and implementation activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Cerner configuration and clinical workflow issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with clinical and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and provide subject matter expertise on complex oncology systems.
• Must meet senior-level consulting qualifications through relevant education and experience.
• Must be located in Canada and available to work Pacific Time hours, including onsite support during cutover and go-live activities.
