Tasks
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Load and unload goods
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Responsibilities
Plan and adjust routes using navigation tools, drive as part of a team or convoy, and load, unload, tarp, and secure cargo. Inspect the vehicle and record cargo, service hours, distance, and fuel use while communicating with central dispatch.
Requirements
