JDE Finance Business Analyst

This is a permanent onsite role in Mississauga.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Financials Business Analyst with a strong background in manufacturing environments to support, enhance, and optimize our client's ERP financial systems and business processes.

The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT, ensuring that JDE Financials effectively supports business requirements, financial reporting, and manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JDE Financials, a solid understanding of manufacturing accounting processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into practical ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support and expertise for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financials modules.
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Manufacturing teams to identify business requirements and recommend ERP solutions.
• Support and optimize core financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cost Accounting.
• Work with manufacturing stakeholders to support inventory valuation, product costing, work-in-progress (WIP), standard costing, and manufacturing variances.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Support JDE configurations, enhancements, system testing, and implementation initiatives.
• Develop and execute test plans, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, working with technical teams and external vendors where required.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Assist with ERP upgrades, system enhancements, and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop process documentation, user guides, and provide training to business users.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, with a focus on Financials.
• Strong functional knowledge of JDE Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, including inventory costing, standard costing, WIP, and cost variances.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and system optimization.
• Proven ability to gather business requirements, document functional specifications, and work with technical teams.
• Experience with system testing, integration testing, and UAT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JDE Manufacturing modules and integration points with Financials.
• Knowledge of JDE Distribution and Supply Chain processes.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with SQL, BI reporting tools, or data analysis.
• Experience supporting multi-site or multi-entity manufacturing operations.
