Newrest, a world leader in the catering and business services sector, is looking for a motivated HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about human resources and want to contribute to the development of our staff, this opportunity is for you! Working with the Human Resources Manager, the HR Coordinator provides support in the various HR department processes (staffing, training, welcoming new employees, employee follow-ups and meetings, events, etc.). He or she will carry out the department's day-to-day tasks to ensure sound human resources management in a variety of areas.

Participate in the strategic planning of human resources by aligning staffing needs with the company's objectives.
Participate in the management of employee immigration processes, including LMIA applications, CAQ applications, work visas, and work permits.
Follow up on CNESST files and legal case files.
Follow up on training plans for new employees and newly appointed employees.
Coordinate employee training activities and compile the data required for compliance with the Act Respecting Workforce Skills Development and Recognition.
Analyze HR data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Act as a resource person for unionized and non-unionized employees (equipment, vacations, payroll liaison, etc.).
Participate in the organization of company events.
Participate in the recruitment process, from job posting to employee onboarding.
Proactively manage all aspects related to payroll, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with payroll deadlines.
Follow up on probation periods in collaboration with managers from the various departments.
Maintain up-to-date employee records (both physical and electronic).
Follow up on workplace accident files in collaboration with other members of the HR team.
Monitor employee absences and tardiness (follow-ups, disciplinary measures, etc.).
Manage the ordering and follow-up of all health and safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, earplugs, gloves, etc.).
Prepare periodic reports on various human resources activities to support informed decision-making.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Personne-ressource pour les employés syndiqués et non -syndiqués (équipement, vacances, lien avec la paie, etc.) ;
Participer à l’organisation des événements ;
Participer dans le processus de dotation, allant de l’affichage des postes à l’intégration des employés ;
Gérer de manière proactive tous les aspects liés à la paie, en veillant à la précision des données et au respect des échéances.
Effectuer le suivi des périodes de probation en collaboration avec les gestionnaires des différents départements ;
