Purpose of Job:

The Order Manager adds value to our customers and co-workers by coordinating and assigning orders to be picked in the system. This involves being a positive team member by quickly responding to requests by email and phone and expediting orders where necessary to ensure seamless operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure all duties and responsibilities are completed as per Standard Operating Procedures:

Order Processing: Based on priorities, truck availability and customer requirements, reviews and releases customer orders and ensures they are accurately assigned in the system with appropriate documentation attached and filed appropriately
Respond to Customer Inquiries: Responds to sales rep/ customer requests by phone and email and resolves any concerns; pick and pack orders as required
Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain Pick Ticket printers and a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company policies and safety procedures and ensuring positive customer service for the next shift
Reporting and Analysis: Track key performance indicators related to order fulfillment and inform management of any concerns including order progress and backlogs
Other Duties as Assigned: As a member of the team, there may be other tasks assigned that aren’t listed above

Recommended Qualifications:

Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements:

Basic math functions
Attention to detail and accuracy
In-depth product knowledge
Basic computer skills to utilize software, email and excel spreadsheets
Good English written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Problem Solving skills

Experience & Education:

1-2 years of warehouse experience
Plumbing knowledge/ experience an asset
High School or equivalent

Physical Demands/ Working Conditions:

Position requires the ability to follow repetitive processes in a fast-paced environment
