This role offers the opportunity to strengthen your technical skills, improve processes, and contribute directly to the growth of our renewable energy business.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customers' energy requirements and sustainability goals
  • Present and demonstrate energy solutions to clients, highlighting technical features, cost/benefit advantages, and risk management value.
  • Generate and qualify new commercial leads through market research, outreach, networking, referrals, and CRM tracking.
  • Prepare and deliver customized proposals, pricing models, contracts, and supporting documentation that align with client needs and regulatory frameworks.
  • Contribute to business case development and ROI analyses, supporting client decision-making and internal justification of projects.
  • Support the evaluation and communication of applicable incentive programs, grants, and tax credits.
  • Negotiate pricing and sales terms to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes, balancing client interests with company profitability.
  • Respond to client inquiries during the sales cycle, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate, professional communication.
  • Coordinate internal resources across technical, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems, tracking customer interactions, proposal status, and pipeline progress.
  • Monitor sales and origination performance metrics, contributing to internal reporting and strategic forecasting.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes in the energy sector.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while upholding high standards of service and compliance.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience: 1–5 years of experience in sales, business development, data analysis, operations, or a client-facing role.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant internships, co-op placements, and academic projects will also be considered.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools for lead management, tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced experience in Excel, including building and maintaining VBA macros for automation and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, with experience pulling, cleaning, and analyzing data from relational databases to support sales insights, pricing, and performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating data-driven, client-ready presentations.
  • Initiative & Teamwork: A self-starter with a can-do attitude who takes ownership, works well independently and collaboratively, and is willing to step in where needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: A problem-solver who identifies opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Organization: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on tasks.
  • Commercial Skills: Strong follow-up skills and the ability to support client relationships, negotiations, and deal execution.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Familiarity with financial derivatives and pricing methodologies; able to support product pricing strategies and contribute to discussions around derivative structures and valuation.
  • Understanding of government incentives, grants, and regulatory programs related to energy.
  • Proven success in a sales or client-facing role, ideally in a fast-paced or energy-related environment.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt quickly, and stay current in a dynamic industry.

What We Offer:

  • A pay-for-performance environment that offers competitive salaries and incentives.
  • Numerous opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Work-life balance
