Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at Nishan Transport’s Mississauga, ON terminal. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily freight movements, including LTL and truckload shipments, to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of equipment and drivers. The Logistics Coordinator will monitor shipment status, update internal systems, and proactively resolve delays or service issues by communicating with drivers, terminals, and customers. Day-to-day tasks include managing load assignments, tracking inventory of trailers and equipment, optimizing routes, and supporting compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with the customer service and dispatch teams, preparing documentation, and maintaining accurate records to support smooth logistics operations.
