With Nix, users can seamlessly translate real-world colors into digital formats and vice versa.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Engineering team. As an Engineering Lab Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the development, testing, and continuous improvement of Nix's industry-leading colour measurement solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented and hands-on professional who enjoys combining technical problem-solving, data analysis, and laboratory work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. If you are curious, analytical, and passionate about technology, we would love to hear from you.

NIX SENSOR LTD offers competitive salary packages, an incredible work environment, and career advancement opportunities.

What will you do?

Support rapid prototyping activities (e.g., 3D printing) for new product and device designs.
Assist with assembly, troubleshooting, and physical/electrical testing of prototype devices under direction of the Engineering team.
Assist with CAD model review and modifications to support prototype development and testing activities.
Document prototype builds, testing procedures, and results.

Administrative Support

Maintaining laboratory test equipment and performing regular maintenance and calibration activities.
Maintain regular communication with suppliers, vendors, and other contacts to ensure databases are current and accurate.
Manage phone and email correspondence to gather and verify information from key stakeholders.
Assist with documentation, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Maintain calibration records and equipment logs to ensure testing accuracy and compliance with internal standards.

General Responsibilities

Take initiative to identify areas for improvement and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development.
Other duties as necessary to support the Engineering and R&D team.
