Senior Information Technology Project Manager
Location: Calgary, AB
Hybrid – Minimum 2 Days Onsite/Week
Domain required: Utilities / Energy - specifically Electricity / Power Utilities
Position Overview
Seeking a Senior Project Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead multiple technology and business initiatives in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing application development/enhancement projects, project governance, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills
- 15+ years of Project Management experience
- Experience managing custom application development and enhancement projects
- Experience creating/managing application enhancement roadmaps
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
- Strong Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid-Agile experience
- Hands-on Azure DevOps Boards experience as Product Manager and Scrum Master
- Budgeting, forecasting, resource, risk, and dependency management
- Experience drafting/reviewing/negotiating SOWs
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation
Preferred
- Utilities / Energy / Electricity / Power industry experience
- Experience with electricity transmission, grid access, or energy-sector initiatives
- Experience working in regulated environments
