Leverage established industry relationships and networks to generate new customers and sales.
Build relationships with wholesale buyers, distributors, retailers, brokers, importers and other key industry contacts.
Negotiate pricing, volumes, product specifications and commercial agreements.
Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, seasonal supply and demand, and emerging sales opportunities.
Identify opportunities to expand market presence and develop new sales channels.
Work closely with internal teams to coordinate product availability, customer orders, packing requirements and logistics.
Contribute to overall sales growth and profitability.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience selling wholesale fresh-market potatoes and produce is essential.
Established relationships within the wholesale produce industry are a significant asset.
Demonstrated success managing existing customer accounts and developing new business.
Strong understanding of wholesale produce markets, pricing, seasonality and supply and demand.
Experience negotiating sales volumes, pricing and commercial agreements.
Knowledge of domestic and international markets, including export sales.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, commercially minded and comfortable working independently.

Compensation

The compensation package will include a competitive base salary plus commission.

Salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, established industry relationships, existing customer connections and demonstrated ability to generate and grow profitable business.
