Original job description

Company Description: Noaza Studios is a Toronto-based collective of wedding photographers working with clients across Canada and select destination locations. The studio is known for a modern editorial aesthetic that combines documentary storytelling with refined portraiture to create visually distinctive, emotionally honest imagery. The team’s work is deeply rooted in storytelling and influenced by culture, design, and human connection, approaching each celebration with intention and sensitivity. Collaborating closely with couples, planners, and creative partners, Noaza Studios documents each wedding with care and precision, then thoughtfully edits and curates every image to reflect the emotion, aesthetic, and cultural significance of the day.

Role Description The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that elevate Noaza Studios’ brand and drive qualified inquiries from couples and planners. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Toronto, ON, with a mix of in-studio collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and managing digital campaigns, overseeing social media channels, and optimizing the studio’s online presence through content, SEO, and analytics. The Marketing Manager will coordinate brand partnerships, manage email marketing and lead-nurture workflows, and support the curation of portfolio assets, blog features, and case studies. This role also involves monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets, and providing regular insights to guide future marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution: Lead and execute Noaza’s marketing strategy and calendar in line with our

bookings and growth goals.

Social & Content: Own our content across Instagram, TikTok, and the website, from monthly calendars and concepts

to hooks, captions, and publishing, keeping every post consistent with our brand voice.

Paid Advertising: Plan, run, and optimize Meta and other paid campaigns to drive inquiries and bookings, managing

budget toward cost per lead and return.

Brand & Messaging: Own and protect Noaza’s brand voice, visual story, and positioning across every channel.
Website & Inquiries: Maintain the website content and galleries, and make sure inquiries are captured and followed

up.

Email & Nurture: Build and run email and follow-up that turns inquiries into booked couples.
Market Awareness: Monitor trends, competitors, and the South Asian wedding market to sharpen our positioning

and campaigns.

Reporting: Track performance, report on what is working, and shape the next month of content and campaigns

around it.

Operational Responsibilities

Manage the marketing calendar and coordinate campaigns, content, shoots, and deliverables.
Coordinate and direct freelancers and vendors (editors, designers, second shooters, collaborators) and manage

timelines to deadline.

Maintain an organized library of photography, video, and brand assets.
Manage photo and video consent and approvals for couples and vendors before external use.
Support marketing budget planning and expenditure tracking.
Coordinate with planners, makeup artists, and other wedding vendors on shared content and tagging.

Core Competencies & Skills

Content & Storytelling: Strong writing, editing, and storytelling across social, email, and web.
Social & Paid Media: Hands-on with Instagram and TikTok, and with Meta Ads Manager.
Brand Consistency: Able to hold a brand’s voice and visual standard across everything we put out.
Project Management: Organized, able to manage multiple campaigns, vendors, and deadlines at once.
Analytics: Comfortable reading performance and turning it into creative decisions.
Creative Fluency: Understands production and content, and can brief and direct creatives well.
Adaptability: Comfortable owning marketing end to end in a small, growing studio.

Background & Qualifications

2 to 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally across content, social, and paid ads.
Experience in or around the wedding, events, or creative industry (3+ years is a strong asset).
Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience creating content and running paid social with real budgets.
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Located in the Greater Toronto Area, with availability for occasional weekend or evening shoots and events.

Tools

Meta Ads Manager, Instagram, TikTok, Canva, Adobe Premiere / Photoshop / Lightroom, email marketing tools, and website

and content platforms.

Benefits:

Maternity leave
Health and wellness coverage
Paid time off

Salary

$65,000 per year

Summary

This is a chance to shape and own the marketing of a growing boutique wedding studio, and to help more couples find the

people who will tell their story. You will work closely with the owner, lead our content and campaigns, and be trusted to turn

our brand into bookings.

To apply, send your resume and a short note to admin@noazastudios.com or apply through LinkedIn.
