Bookkeeper

We’re hiring: Bookkeeper / Intermediate Accountant

Nootka Saunas is growing fast, and our finance team is growing with it.

We design and build premium saunas in Squamish, BC, and ship them to customers across Canada and the US. We’re adding new markets, building out our systems and scaling production. That’s why we’re looking for someone to help build the finance function behind all of it.

What you’ll be doing

• Day-to-day bookkeeping for our Canadian and US entities: AP, AR, bank and credit card reconciliations
• Helping with month-end close and getting our financials faster and sharper every month
• Supporting inventory and cost accounting for a real manufacturing operation (yes, actual lumber)
• Working with intercompany and cross-border transactions
• Helping us get the most out of our systems as we bring in Odoo ERP

Our ideal candidate

• [2–4+] years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. A CPA in progress is a bonus.
• Comfortable in financial software, and curious about ERPs (Odoo experience is a big plus)
• Detail-oriented, but you also see the bigger picture. You want to know why the numbers moved.
• Happy in a fast-paced, growing company where you can shape how things are done
• Bonus points for experience in manufacturing, inventory, or US/Canada cross-border work

[Salary range: $62,000 – $68,000] + [benefits / bonus / other perks]
