We're looking for a very resourceful Maintenance Technician to join our team in Squamish.
Full-time position, Monday - Friday
Nootka Saunas has a great team and we're looking to add a maintenance technician to keep our equipment and tools up and running.
The ideal candidate:
- Is comfortable with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Can confidently work on PLC-controlled equipment
- Can get a seized bolt out, drill and tap holes, pull pulley wheels and figure out how to get parts quickly in Squamish
- Will troubleshoot methodically to determine issues.
- Prevent breakdowns by developing a thorough preventative maintenance program.

Responsibilities
Maintain equipment and tools to keep them operational, troubleshoot issues methodically, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment. Develop a thorough preventive maintenance program to reduce equipment breakdowns.
Requirements
The candidate should be comfortable working with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and confident working on PLC-controlled equipment. They should be resourceful with hands-on repairs, methodical troubleshooting, and sourcing parts quickly in Squamish.
