Original job description

Norima Consulting is expanding our Guidewire practice, and we're looking to connect with experienced Guidewire certified Developers to support the design and delivery of Guidewire solutions within client environments.

Location: Greater Toronto area ideal, though we welcome applications from across Canada.

Work arrangement requirements vary based on the unique business requirements for each client engagement we support, typically offering hybrid or remote arrangements - and we'll always be upfront about what's expected before you move forward.

Who You Are:

A Senior Guidewire Developer with certification in one or more InsuranceSuite products. You bring technical depth and consulting instincts to client engagements, navigate complex delivery environments with confidence, and take pride in building trusted relationships and delivering results.

You don't need experience across every module or technical area, however, strong depth in at least one, combined with the right mindset, is what we're looking for.

A Glimpse of What You’ll Be Doing

Support clients on Guidewire projects involving configurations, integrations, migrations, and full implementations
Perform hands-on development and technical problem-solving within Guidewire environments
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
Collaborate with delivery teams and client stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes
Coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore team members

What You’ll Bring

10+ years of experience in software development within P&C insurance technology or consulting environments
5+ years hands-on Guidewire experience across one or more modules - PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, ContactManager, Digital Portals, or Guidewire Data Platform
Guidewire Certification required; Ace certification highly desirable though applications from those with Specialist and/or Associate designations will still be considered, ideally aligned to recent platform versions (within latest 1-2 releases)
Expertise in at least one of the following: configurations, integrations, or data and migration
Strong communication and leadership skills in client-facing projects
A consultative, collaborative mindset with a focus on quality and outcomes

Why Join Norima Consulting?

We're a team of entrepreneurial, passionate problem-solvers who thrive in a fast paced environment. We hire bright, curious, highly skills and driven professionals who embody our 3C Culture: Character, Competence, and Consistency.

When you join Norima, you’re stepping into a workplace that champions innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth. We value intelligence, adaptability, energy, and a relentless focus on results, ensuring every team member plays a role in our collective success.

What You Can Expect:

An Innovative Culture: Work alongside top-tier professionals tackling industry challenges with fresh, forward-thinking approaches
Competitive Benefits: Enjoy a comprehensive benefit package that supports your well-being
RRSP Matching/401K Program: We invest in your future, helping you build financial security.
Professional Development: Grow your skills through training, mentorship and hands-on experience.
Learning Groups: Connect with peers in collaborative learning sessions designed to keep you ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.

This posting is being used to fill current vacancies and to build our talent network for anticipated future opportunities within our Guidewire practice.

We welcome applications from Guidewire engineers across a range of experience levels. Compensation typically ranges from $110,000–$160,000 CAD for senior-level opportunities. Compensation for other opportunities may vary based on role scope, level, skills, and experience.

AI use in recruitment: We use AI assisted tools to help us review applications as part of our recruitment process. These tools support our team by highlighting relevant experience. All interview and hiring decisions are made by our people.

We are committed to ensuring that every applicant can participate fully and fairly in our hiring process. If you require accommodations during the recruitment process, please inform us in advance so we can accommodate your needs. Your request for accommodation will be treated confidentially and will not impact your application.
