The LINC Program Support Assistant plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program. Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations and Program Coordinator, this position provides administrative support to the Academic Program Manager, Program Manager, Associate Chair, and Business Operations team, while serving as an important point of contact for students, faculty, and college service areas.
This role is responsible for facilitating LINC program operations through student support, enrolment administration, data management, records maintenance, event coordination, and process improvement. Working in a dynamic and learner-focused environment, the LINC Program Support Assistant helps ensure students receive timely support while contributing to efficient program delivery and strong administrative processes.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Represent the faculty at reception and maintain broad knowledge of college systems, services, and resources to support students and staff.
- Maintain accurate student information through data entry, uploads, enrolment processes, and integration of student data into required reporting systems.
- Administer LINC student processes, including waitlists, enrolment, withdrawal, and student placement activities.
- Connect with students throughout the term to support enrolment, waitlist management, and program participation.
- Prepare, validate, and manage data required for student placement and program administration.
- Support student requests for certificates, letters, records, and general course information.
- Provide administrative support for program operations including expenses, supply management, timetabling, records management, event coordination, evaluations, and committee activities.
- Document and promote LINC program information for college service areas and internal stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and raise issues related to administrative processes while supporting process improvements and new initiatives.
- Develop and maintain administrative process documentation and provide information and support to the Business Operations team and program leadership.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Two-year Administrative Diploma or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
- Three or more years of customer service experience.
- Strong understanding of office systems and experience using Microsoft Office, Teams, and related applications.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to learn and adopt new systems, software, and processes.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills, with the ability to remain clear and calm in a busy environment.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, working with multicultural clients, or knowledge of another language is considered an asset.

- Work independently and collaboratively to support learners, internal clients, and program leadership.
- Develop, review, maintain, and improve administrative process documentation that supports consistency, continuity, and service excellence.
SALARY: AUPE Band Level 5 | Administrator I | $1,876 - $2,439 bi-weekly reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience.
