ENROLMENT & COMMUNICATIONS

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing, the Sr. Advisor, Marketing provides a comprehensive range of marketing support and services for internal clients across the College, including faculties, student recruitment, and corporate service areas. This role has a direct and significant impact on NorQuest's brand and reputation through the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that support student recruitment, student retention, brand awareness, and institutional priorities.

Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the College, the Sr. Advisor, Marketing develops strategic marketing plans, manages complex projects, oversees multi-channel campaigns, and provides expert marketing consultation. The role works closely with marketing, communications, digital, web, and creative teams to deliver effective campaigns, evaluate performance, and continuously improve marketing outcomes while ensuring alignment with business objectives, branding standards, and the College's strategic priorities.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Develop strategic marketing plans, creative briefs, and project plans informed by audience research, segmentation insights, campaign results, and business objectives.
Manage the successful execution of marketing projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, branding standards, and strategic goals.
Collaborate with committees, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
Identify, source, and recommend multi-channel marketing tactics that support campaign objectives and drive student recruitment, retention, and brand awareness.
Work closely with marketing, digital, web, communications, and creative teams to deliver coordinated campaigns across advertising, web, content, email, social media, and recruitment events.
Coordinate and manage college-wide marketing initiatives, including recruitment campaigns, Open House, career fairs, conferences, publications, and promotional activities.
Monitor campaign performance, evaluate results against established objectives and KPIs, and recommend improvements to messaging, content, channels, and tactics.
Manage project budgets, vendor relationships, production requirements, and promotional activities across print, digital, web, video, audio, and other marketing channels.
Provide marketing consultation, recommendations, and guidance to stakeholders across faculties, student recruitment, advancement, business development, and other college departments.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of marketing, brand, and operational processes that support effective service delivery and campaign success.

WHAT YOU BRING

University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Membership within CMA, IABC, etc or digital certifications will be considered an asset along with Technical certifications.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience developing and executing marketing and brand strategies within a large, multifaceted organization.
Experience developing marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, promotions, direct marketing initiatives, events, sponsorships, and creative development.
Experience developing and managing marketing and advertising budgets, project plans, and campaign performance evaluation.
Strong knowledge of marketing and communication theories and experience executing strategic and tactical marketing plans across digital, social, print, and other media channels.
Proven experience using project management and change management practices to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and tight deadlines.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills. Experience in post-secondary education, agency environments, senior-level client support, and professional marketing certifications are considered assets.

SALARY: AUPE Band Level 10 | Senior Analyst II | $3,134 - $4,070 bi-weekly reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience.
