Your daily role:

Be trained and required to operate different types of machinery in order to effectively complete required tasks;
Train and provide direction to Packaging Technicians to maintain consistent operation of all packaging lines meeting production targets;
Organize and complete effective and efficient changeovers;
Troubleshoot packaging equipment and perform preventative maintenance when required;
Communicating effectively with Operations Leaders to maintain production;
Working in compliance with established Safety, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety protocols, reporting all concerns to your supervisor

Your profile:

Working knowledge of Packaging equipment and basic troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude;
1-2 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting;
Strong computer, communication and organizational skills;
Ability to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities and work independently;
Regular lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50lbs;
A builder of teams and positive work environments;

Responsibilities

The Line Leader is responsible for operating packaging machinery and training Packaging Technicians to meet production targets. They must also perform equipment troubleshooting and ensure all operations comply with safety and food quality protocols.

Requirements

Candidates should have 1-2 years of manufacturing experience and a working knowledge of packaging equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude, communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs are required.
