What it’s like to be a Northbridge Technical Assistant, Commercial Underwriting?

Northbridge Insurance Technical Assistants interpret customer service requests and gather relevant information to allow for quick and accurate processing of inquiries. They work closely with our underwriters and brokers to provide technical and administrative support to them.

Our Technical Assistants are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our underwriters and brokers – this means emails and phone calls don’t go unanswered.

We want your talent!

If you are great at:

Organizing and prioritize work assignments
Keyboarding and data entry
Identify and understand customer needs

If you have:

Previous experience in an office environment
Ease of working in an IT environment and using various systems
Data entry experience
Team-first mentality
French (mandatory), English an asset

Responsibilities

Interpret customer service requests and gather relevant information to support the quick and accurate processing of inquiries. Provide technical and administrative support to underwriters and brokers, maintaining responsive communication and strong working relationships.

Requirements

Previous office experience and data-entry experience are sought, along with comfort working in an IT environment and using various systems. Candidates should be organized, able to prioritize assignments, understand customer needs, work well in a team, and have mandatory French; English is an asset.
