Are you someone who has a real passion for helping others? Are you a registered Occupational Therapist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Occupational Therapy & Recreation department.
In accordance with established vision and values of Northern Health, the Occupational Therapist performs assessments and interventions related to patients' occupational performance according to established Occupational Therapy practices and national provincial college standards. The occupational therapist works as a team member under the general supervision of the Lead Occupational Therapist of the OT department. This position rotates between acute physical/medical inpatient wards and outpatient services. The Occupational Therapist works independently and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, 08:00 to 16:00 (Rotating)
