Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Ksyen Regional Hospital.
Provides and coordinates nursing care with current standards of nursing practice and the Clinical Specialty of Critical Care & Emergency/Ambulatory Care Nursing. Clinical experience to independently work in ICU and Emergency is required. Responsibilities include designated tasks on the Acute Care Unit as delegated by Head Nurse/ in-charge.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)
A first in Canada: minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratios (mNPR) are starting in B.C.! Northern Health, along side other health authorities, is implementing mNPR as a transformative staffing solution that aims to improve the working environment of nurses in order to provide better quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
Provide and coordinate nursing care in accordance with current nursing practice standards and the clinical specialty of critical care and emergency or ambulatory nursing. Perform designated Acute Care Unit tasks as delegated by the head nurse or nurse in charge.
Requirements
The role requires a Registered Nurse with clinical experience sufficient to work independently in the ICU and Emergency. It also calls for the ability to deliver compassionate patient care and follow current nursing practice standards.
