About Northern Mat & Bridge

Northern Mat & Bridge is a Canadian owned company that has been providing safe, reliable access solutions across the country for over 25 years. Founded in 1999, we’ve grown from a small operation in Grande Prairie, Alberta into a coast-to-coast leader in access matting and portable bridge solutions, supporting projects in some of the most challenging terrains and climates in the world.

Responsibilities

Production & Execution

• Keep up with the production line to meet operational targets
• Complete finishing tasks accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform general labour duties related to mat production

Safety & Worksite Maintenance

• Work with the supervisor to maintain an orderly and safe worksite
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas

Equipment Operation

• Operate power tools and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Support basic equipment upkeep and report issues as required

Experience

• Previous physical labour experience required
• Lumber or manufacturing industry experience is considered an asset
• Experience operating power tools and equipment preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and schedule

• Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and supervisors

Licence / Certification / Education

• Grade 12 education preferred
