Financial Services Representative (FSR)
Reports To: Assistant Branch Manager
About the Role
Northern Savings Credit Union is seeking a member-focused Financial Services Representative (FSR) to provide exceptional service and financial solutions. This role supports both personal and business members through a variety of deposit, investment, lending, and day-to-day banking services while contributing to branch growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong member relationships by identifying needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
- Open and maintain personal and business accounts, registered and non-registered investments, term deposits, and lending products.
- Process a variety of member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, drafts, wires, and foreign currency.
- Support members with digital banking, debit and credit card services, safety deposit boxes, and account maintenance requests.
- Generate referrals to lending, wealth management, insurance, and business banking specialists.
- Resolve member inquiries and concerns with a focus on delivering exceptional member service.
- Ensure compliance with credit union policies, privacy requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support branch operations, cash management, balancing activities, and administrative functions as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset.
- 2-4 years of financial services experience preferred.
- Previous sales and member service experience required.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital banking systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, accountability, and member service.
