Northview Technologies is a growing tech company based in Old Montreal, building software and quantitative tools for financial markets. We’re a young, talented team with a clear mission: make financial analysis more accessible through technology.

The role

We’re looking for a technically strong, curious developer to help build our SaaS platform, bringing together screeners, momentum analysis, market data, quantitative tools, and portfolio tracking.

You’ll work directly with the founders and collaborate with our existing developers and quantitative researchers. Your primary focus will be developing the platform and improving its infrastructure.

We place a high value on strong technical skills and hands-on proficiency with AI and emerging technologies. We want someone who can use these tools effectively to build, solve problems, and deliver reliable software.

Your responsibilities

• Build frontend and backend features.

• Integrate APIs, market data, and quantitative tools.

• Develop and maintain databases, and contribute to deployments.

• Improve platform reliability, security, and performance.

• Use AI coding tools and integrate AI-powered features and automations where they add value.

• Test, review, document, and maintain your work, including AI-generated code.

What we’re looking for

• Strong practical skills in full stack web development.

• A solid understanding of APIs and databases.

• Demonstrated experience using AI tools in real development workflows, with the judgment to validate their outputs.

• Curiosity about emerging technologies and the ability to apply them to practical problems.

• Projects that demonstrate your ability to build and deliver.

• The ability to learn quickly, research independently, and propose solutions.

• Attention to detail, clear communication, and transparency when you need help.

• A strong interest in financial markets and quantitative analysis.
