NRI Industrial Sales specializes in industrial asset recovery and the resale of industrial MRO,

equipment, and machinery. We help manufacturers and industrial organizations maximize value

from surplus assets while supporting sustainability through reuse and redistribution rather than

disposal. Headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, with operations in Canada, the United States,

and the Middle East, NRI works with clients across a wide range of industries to recover,

manage, market, and sell surplus industrial assets.

Position Summary

NRI Industrial Sales is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service

Representative to join our Customer Service team. The successful candidate will support

customers primarily by phone and email, process customer orders, refunds and returns,

respond to general inquiries, and ensure customer information and transactions are handled

accurately and efficiently.

This role is well suited to someone who is comfortable working with a steady volume of

customer calls and administrative tasks, has strong attention to detail, and is confident in

learning new systems and processes. Training will be provided as part of the onboarding

process.

This posting is for an existing vacancy. The position is being added to our Customer Service

team as the team continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound customer calls as required, providing professional

service.

Respond to customer inquiries and escalate more complex questions or issues to the

appropriate team member.

Coordinate with Sales, Shipping, Warehouse, Finance, and other internal teams as

required to address customer inquiries and order-related matters.

Accurately enter and process customer orders while ensuring all information is complete

and up to date.

Process customer refunds and returns in accordance with established company

procedures.

Follow established customer service procedures and ensure issues are appropriately

documented and followed through to resolution.

Complete data entry and other administrative duties related to customer service

operations.

Perform other related duties as required based on business needs.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience

Native or working-level proficiency in English.

College diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in customer service, administration, or a customer-facing rol.

Experience with order-entry, CRM, ERP, eCommerce, or other business systems is

considered an asset.

Skills

Strong computer skills with the ability and willingness to learn new systems, software,

and processes.

High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.

Ability to manage repetitive and high-volume tasks with consistency.

Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and handling a steady volume of

inbound and outbound calls.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and willing to ask questions when needed.

Reliable, organized, and able to consistently follow established processes and

procedures.
