Join Our Purpose – Feeding the Future

Role: Customer Service Representative
Location: St. Marys, ON
Hours/Shift: Full-time, 100% on-site, includes one mandatory half‑day Saturday per month and rotating holiday coverage

Vacancy Type: Replacement

Why join us

Get ready to Own your direction as a Customer Service Representative supporting our Poultry business at Trouw Nutrition, a Nutreco company. As global leaders in animal nutrition and aquafeed, our shared purpose of Feeding the Future guides us in delivering high‑quality, sustainable feed solutions to a growing world. In this analytical, service‑driven role, you will help ensure seamless feed program execution for our customers while shaping positive outcomes through smart planning, data‑driven decision‑making, and proactive communication. Own your development, Own your impact, and Own your path.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will own the full customer experience for your assigned Poultry customer base. You will manage end‑to‑end feed program execution - using multiple systems (including M3) to analyze data, anticipate upcoming orders, plan production needs, coordinate with operations and sales, and proactively reach out to customers when feed levels are low. You will apply a highly analytical and detail‑focused approach to ensure accuracy, reliability, and strong cross‑functional alignment. You will represent Trouw Nutrition with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication, delivering both good and difficult news when required, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and service.

Who we’re looking for

You are someone who takes ownership of your work, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and excels at juggling multiple priorities with accuracy and composure. You combine strong analytical capabilities with excellent relationship‑building skills, and you’re confident working independently while collaborating effectively with production, logistics, sales, and other internal partners. You bring a positive, open‑minded, and coachable attitude, embrace feedback, and remain solutions‑oriented - even when navigating challenges. You’re personable, proactive, digitally savvy, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll also need

Previous experience in customer service or retail with a strong service mindset
High‑level communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong analytical abilities and comfort with data‑driven decision‑making
Experience with ERP systems and strong digital proficiency
Ability to multi‑task, calculate risk, and manage priorities independently
Ability to handle direct customer calls and proactively reach out when needed
Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
Ability to deliver both positive and difficult messages professionally
Agriculture or animal nutrition experience preferred
Positive, personable, open‑minded, highly coachable, and team‑oriented
Ability to work on-site full-time
Availability for one half‑day Saturday per month and rotating holiday coverage

What you’ll receive

As part of Nutreco, you’ll be a member of the SHV family, a diverse group of companies with global footprint. Join us and you’ll gain access to a wide network of expertise and global career paths. You’ll also benefit from the backing of one of the world’s largest privately owned businesses, known for its stability and long-term focus.

In addition, you’ll receive

Robust pension plan with employer matching that begins on Day 1!
Competitive health benefits - Medical/Dental/Vision/HSA, that start on Day 1!
Short-term/Long-term Disability and Mental Health spending allowance
Maternal top-up and Tuition Reimbursement
15 vacation days to start (tiered)

How and why to find out more

We can offer you a rewarding career with real meaning and purpose. Where you’ll feel proud of the impactful role you perform every day and the part you play in Feeding the Future. So, if you’re interested in joining us, get ready to Own your progress, your potential and your career. We aim to review all applications within five business days and will get back to you as soon as possible.
