Clinic Manager

NutriChem Pharmacy & Clinic | Ottawa, Ontario

Full-Time, Permanent | On-Site | 40 Hours per Week

Salary Range: $68,000–$75,000 annually

About NutriChem

For more than 45 years, NutriChem has been doing healthcare differently.

Based in Ottawa, NutriChem Pharmacy & Clinic has built a unique model of personalized healthcare that brings naturopathic medicine, pharmacy, compounding, laboratory testing, custom vitamins, nutritional care and personalized therapeutics together under one roof.

We believe exceptional healthcare comes from connecting the dots - looking beyond individual symptoms to understand the complete patient and bringing together the right clinical expertise, diagnostics and therapeutic options to help them achieve better health.

For our Clinic team, this creates an exciting and highly collaborative environment. Our administrative professionals work closely with naturopathic doctors, pharmacists and other healthcare practitioners, playing an essential role in connecting patients with the services, testing and personalized care they need.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and experienced Clinic Manager who shares our commitment to exceptional patient care, strong team leadership and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

Are you a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes and delivering exceptional patient experiences?

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you'll oversee the daily operations of our multidisciplinary Clinic, lead our administrative team and support healthcare practitioners.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems and proactively identifies opportunities to improve Clinic performance, patient experience and operational efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

Team Leadership & Management

Lead, coach and develop the Clinic administrative team, establishing clear expectations and accountability.

Oversee staffing, scheduling, training and daily administrative operations.

Foster a positive, collaborative and solutions-oriented team environment.

Patient Experience

Ensure a seamless patient journey from initial inquiry through appointments, follow-up and ongoing care.

Maintain exceptional service standards and resolve escalated patient concerns.

Identify opportunities to improve patient engagement, retention and satisfaction.

Clinic Performance & Growth

Monitor key performance indicators, including bookings, retention, practitioner utilization and revenue.

Identify and implement improvements that support Clinic growth, efficiency and profitability.

Support Retail and Custom Vitamin sales through effective patient follow-through and interdepartmental collaboration.

Operations & Practitioner Support

Ensure efficient daily Clinic operations and administrative support for practitioners.

Develop and improve processes, systems and standard operating procedures.

Collaborate with Pharmacy, Custom Vitamins, Retail and other NutriChem departments.

Proactively resolve operational challenges and implement improvements.

What We're Looking For

3–5 years of management or operational leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, wellness or a service-focused environment.

Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.

Exceptional organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Strong commitment to patient service and continuous improvement.

Business awareness and experience using performance metrics to drive results.

Confident decision-maker who takes initiative and ownership.

Comfortable working with healthcare practitioners and multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency with technology and administrative systems.

Relevant post-secondary education is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.

Why Join NutriChem?

Join an established, locally owned healthcare organization where you'll work alongside experienced Naturopathic Doctors and other healthcare professionals, lead a dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on patient care and Clinic performance.

We value integrity, innovation, collaboration and individualized care, and welcome people who bring fresh ideas and a commitment to excellence.
