An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Calgary or Saskatoon corporate office beginning January 2027 for an approximate 8 or 12-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position and is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.

What You'll Do

Design and implement data gathering, reporting, and automation solutions for informational tax reporting obligations and/or transactional indirect taxes.
Identify ways to automate manual tasks using technologies and coding languages such as Power BI, Power Query, DAX, Excel, SQL, VBA, and Alteryx.
You will gain exposure to a variety of Enterprise Resource Planning ("ERP") databases, the S/4 HANA Datawarehouse, and tax reporting tools. It is not necessarily expected for candidates to have previous knowledge of all these tools, languages, or data structures, but they must demonstrate an interest and technical acumen to learn these skills as needed.
Gather process, data, and integration requirements through workshops with tax team members and other stakeholders to define requirements for solution development and process automation.
Provide support for invoice processing workflows and the development of associated financial and operational reporting
