An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Saskatoon corporate office beginning May 2027 for an approximate 4-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position and is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.

What You'll Do

Support category management initiatives for mining equipment and services by conducting spend analysis, market research, and supplier assessments to identify cost-saving and value creation opportunities
Assisted in the development of sourcing strategies by gathering supplier and market intelligence, evaluating industry trends, and supporting contract and category reviews
Collaborated with operations, maintenance, and supply chain stakeholders to understand business requirements, support supplier performance discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement within assigned categories
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and analysis to support category managers in making informed business decisions

What You'll Bring

Highly motivated individual who is keen to solve problems independently
Curiosity, desire to learn and comfort getting into the weeds in unfamiliar areas
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Currently pursuing a degree in Commerce, Engineering with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Competence in standard Microsoft Office software and proficient in Excel
