What You’ll Do
- Lead with a balance of heart and strategy, developing a high-performing team, providing coaching and mentorship, and fostering a positive culture.
- Own hospital operations including (but not limited to) payroll, inventory, policy compliance, PIMS administration and reporting, landlord liaison, facility management, health and safety, and vendor relationships.
- Own financial accountability for hospital operations, including income statement analysis, forecasting, budget planning, and using key metrics to measure and drive financial performance.
- Collaborate with the Managing DVM to support staffing needs, from hiring and onboarding, to performance management and team building.
- Ensure an exceptional client experience, resolving issues with compassion, professionalism and focused on solutions.
- Use your problem-solving and planning skills to manage costs, optimize revenue, and support long-term success.
- Manage projects & initiatives in collaboration with Manager of Regional Operations and Support Centre.
- Lead through ambiguity with confidence, courage, and clarity, knowing when to adapt, when to push forward, and how to keep the team aligned through change.
- Are energized by helping others succeed and believe in clear expectations and supportive feedback.
- Enjoy rolling up your sleeves to streamline operations and problem-solve on the fly.
- Have a knack for balancing day-to-day logistics with big-picture thinking.
- Know how to create an inclusive, team-first atmosphere where people feel heard and valued.
- 3+ years of experience leading and managing in a multi-departmental setting.
- Familiarity with tools like Dayforce, Microsoft Suite, and client management software.
