Who are we looking for

Project Coordinator role is an integral member of the Project Management team and acts as a key facilitator of information communicated between project teams, clients, trades, and our Finance team.

What will you do

Assist with the tendering process by preparing documents, tracking submissions, and coordinating sub-contractor engagement.
Manage and organize construction drawings and specifications, ensuring proper naming conventions and easy access for both internal and external teams.
Set up projects in Jonas Premier Software, including client information, budgets, and change orders.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate subcontracts, shop drawings, and change orders.
Prepare and distribute comprehensive project handbooks to Site Supervisors and relevant teams.
Support financial processes by tracking billing, auditing cost controls, and preparing project forecasts.
Oversee project closeout, ensuring compliance with the Lien Act and submission of final record documents.
Maintain organized project folders and standardize processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Build and nurture relationships with sub-trades and maintain an updated bidders list.
Perform additional duties as required to support the project team and enhance project performance.

What you need to succeed

2 years minimum of Project Coordinator experience
Post-secondary education in Construction Management or recognized equivalent required.
Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders
Excellent and effective communication skills; written and verbal
Strong organization, planning and time management skills
Strong analytical, problem solving skills
Excellent with numbers, budgets and reporting
Enthusiasm and commitment to continual learning
Proficient in all computer skills, MS Office, Bluebeam and MS Project.
Software experience with Jonas Premier is a requirement.
