At Oakstone Millwork & Design, we don't build production cabinetry - we create custom millwork that transforms homes and commercial spaces. Every project is unique, every detail matters, and craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do.

We're looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker who takes pride in precision, enjoys solving challenges, and believes that "good enough" simply isn't good enough.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Cabinet Maker, you'll be involved in all aspects of custom millwork production, including:

• Reading and interpreting shop drawings and production plans
• Building custom cabinetry and architectural millwork
• Cutting, machining, assembling and finishing cabinet components
• Operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently including:
  • Table saw
  • Sliding panel saw
  • Edge bander
  • CNC equipment
  • Drill press
  • Router
  • Sanders
• Installing hardware including drawer slides, hinges, organizers and specialty components
• Ensuring finished products meet Oakstone's quality standards
• Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Problem solving and suggesting improvements when challenges arise

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of cabinet making or custom millwork experience
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques
• Ability to read shop drawings independently
• Experience with laminate, veneer, hardwood and melamine products
• Laminating experience is a must
• Able to regularly lift sheet goods or cabinets, stand for long periods, and safely handle heavy millwork components
• Reliable transportation

Experience with:

• Installation experience
