About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our team.

The Senior Systems Analyst serves as the lead analyst and solution design specialist for enterprise technology initiatives. Working within established architecture and solution direction, this role translates high-level designs into system-specific configurations, ensuring solutions are feasible, optimized, and aligned with business requirements. As a key subject matter expert and trusted partner to Architects, the Senior Systems Analyst brings deep system knowledge and technical expertise to support the successful delivery of enterprise solutions.

Acting as a subject matter expert throughout the solution lifecycle, the Senior Systems Analyst provides end-to-end solution analysis, influences solution decisions, drives design quality, and supports the successful delivery of complex, business-critical programs. This role also identifies and enables opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation within enterprise systems to enhance process efficiency, improve decision-making, and elevate the user experience.

About Your Day

  • Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable system solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards, roadmaps, and integration patterns.
  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, impact assessments, and cross-functional workshops to define scope, resolve gaps, and identify risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities.
  • Design and support enterprise platform configurations, integrations, data flows, and AI-enabled capabilities while ensuring scalability, governance, compliance, data quality, and alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting best practices, maintaining traceability across the delivery lifecycle, and supporting successful implementation and testing.
  • Act as a key liaison between business and technical stakeholders, influencing requirements, leading solution trade-off discussions, mentoring team members, and collaborating with vendors and partners to support delivery.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise applications, digital commerce platforms, customer-facing portals, and Azure integration services, leading issue resolution, process optimization, automation, continuous improvement, and evaluation of emerging technologies, including AI/ML solutions.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience); relevant certifications or experience with Digital Commerce Platforms, Microsoft Azure, or Enterprise Integration Technologies are considered an asset.
  • 5–8 years of experience in a Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar IT role supporting digital commerce platforms, customer portals, web applications, and large-scale business-critical systems.
  • Experience with APIs, web services, middleware, enterprise integrations, relational databases, data analysis, and troubleshooting end-to-end business transactions across web and backend systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital order management and customer-facing business processes, including retailer onboarding, account management, catalog management, inventory visibility, ordering, fulfillment, invoicing, and claims.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into system designs, lead solution workshops, facilitate technical discussions, and align business and technical stakeholders on solution approaches.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, and the ability to troubleshoot transactions across portal applications, middleware services, Azure integration components, and Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Experience with B2B wholesale commerce platforms, retailer portals, Shopify, Sitecore OrderCloud, commercetools, Dynamics 365, Azure Integration Services, and related cloud technologies is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for system optimization, automation, continuous improvement, and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
