Cabco Technologies is seeking a safety-focused and motivated Outside Plant Line Technician to join our growing team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

What You'll Do
- Install and maintain aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure.
- Install strand, coaxial, and fiber-optic cable.
- Safely operate bucket trucks, cable trailers, and related equipment.
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair outside plant network equipment.
- Read and interpret network designs, maps, and construction drawings.
- Work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- 3 to 10 years of telecommunications, outside plant, utility construction, or related experience.
- Experience with aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Air Brake Endorsement and fiber splicing experience are considered assets.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities
Install and maintain aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure, including strand, coaxial, and fiber-optic cable, and safely operate related equipment. Test, troubleshoot, and repair outside plant network equipment while interpreting network plans and following safety requirements in varied work environments.
Requirements
Candidates should have 3 to 10 years of telecommunications, outside plant, utility construction, or related experience, along with experience in aerial and underground infrastructure. A valid Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, strong troubleshooting skills, legal authorization to work in Canada, and successful completion of a criminal background check are required; air brake endorsement and fiber splicing experience are assets.
