Cabco Technologies is seeking an experienced Physical Security Estimator to support the design, estimation, and delivery of commercial security projects across Atlantic Canada.
If you have experience with access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and low-voltage technologies, this is an opportunity to join a growing team that delivers innovative security and technology solutions to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
What You'll Do
- Develop accurate estimates and quotations for physical security systems
- Review customer requirements, drawings, specifications, and site conditions
- Create bills of materials, labor estimates, and project documentation
- Design and recommend security solutions that meet customer needs and budgets
- Conduct site visits and support customer discovery meetings
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and field technicians
- Prepare complete project handoff packages for implementation teams
- Provide technical expertise throughout project execution
What We're Looking For
- Experience estimating or designing physical security systems
- Knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom, and low-voltage solutions
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu or similar design/markup software
- Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally within Atlantic Canada
