We are seeking a friendly face to represent all things Ol’B in retail, on-premises, and event settings in Edmonton, Red Deer, and Northern Alberta. JOB OVERVIEW

Role is based in Edmonton.

Our Sales Representative will work closely with the Sales Manager and ownership to expand Ol’ Beautiful’s presence in the Edmonton & Northern Alberta market. A key focus of this role will be maintaining relationships with existing accounts and developing prospective accounts for both on- premises and retail locations. As a rapidly growing brand, additional focus will be placed on expansion into new territories and movement of product volume. This role will require travel and the odd delivery.

The ideal candidate is extremely organized, detail oriented, responsible, hard working and loves craft beer. This position will be full-time, hybrid-remote (based in Edmonton with occasional travel to Calgary), and will require working some nights and weekends.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in planning and goal setting with Sales Manager
Meet or exceed territory sales objectives to achieve personal, divisional, and corporate objectives
Develop and maintain sales pipeline
Utilize Ol’ Beautiful’s CRM software
Maintain existing accounts & acquire new accounts.
Coordinate invoices and delivery schedule
Communicate with Operations and Sales Manager around Liquor Connect stock
Analyze and report monthly on territory sales performance to Sales Lead and assist with planning and strategizing to meet or exceed sales and financial targets
Actively prospect new retail and on-premises accounts
Represent Ol’ Beautiful positively at account events, industry events, and trade shows
Participate in the planning of new beer releases given market trends
Actively communicate with Operations and Sales Leads to maintain inventory
Attend and contribute to meetings with Operations and Production teams
Submit and create sales, expense, and forecasting reports
Assist in the onboarding of temporary event staff
Focus on product placement, inventory management, execution of POS, and merchandising at retail account locations
Attend weekend events and activations

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience in consumer goods or related industry (brewery sales experience is a huge plus!).

Valid Class-5 or equivalent driver’s license
High School Diploma

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Professional demeanour, selling style, and appearance
Ability to work remotely, independently, and as part of a team
Knowledge of and interest in the craft beer industry
Knowledge regarding AGLC Handbook is an asset
Demonstrated success in sales with achievement in volume and profitability
Prior business relationship building skills are an asset
Ability to interact professionally and effectively with colleagues and the public
Previous experience with wholesale agents and Liquor Connect is an asset
Strict attention to detail
Computer literacy including but not limited to: Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM, Clover
Exceptional verbal communication, presentation skills, and English language proficiency.
Ability to move 160lb with dolly
Proficient with numbers and able to perform basic calculations

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Primarily field-based, traveling to customer locations within territory

· Frequent driving and operation of a company vehicle

· Regular visits to retail stores, licensed establishments, distributors, and customer offices

· Occasional trip to Head Office in Calgary

· Frequent use of a laptop, mobile phone, and other technology for communication and reporting

COMPENSATION

· Base salary of $55-$65k per year (based on qualifications)

· Commission/bonus structure offering the ability to earn up to 30% of salary annually, paid quarterly based on achievement of sales targets

· Computer, cell phone, gas/car allowance, expense account will be provided
